The first CSIA international Corporate Governance
Conference, jointly organised by the Shanghai Stock
Exchange, hailed as a success by global delegates

 

Corporate Secretaries International Association (CSIA) successfully hosted the inaugural conference - the CSIA 1st international Corporate Governance Conference (iCGC) - in 21-23 September, 2011 in Shanghai. The event was jointly organised by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).


Over 180 international experts and high-level delegates from all over the world attended to deliberate, question, discuss and debate the question in the conference’s theme: “Sustainable Corporate Governance – Towards a Global Model?”


Speakers and panellists came from Africa, Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, India, the UK and the US as well as many other countries and regions. Added to these distinguished corporate and academic presenters were delegates from the 14 CSIA member countries and a significant number of prominent local governance corporate professionals and businessmen.
